New Factory, New Starting Point; Smart Manufacturing, New Chapter

On April 14, 2025, the On-site Promotion Conference for 2025 Newly Started and Put into Production Projects of Xiangcheng Economic and Technological Development Zone (Xiangcheng ETDZ) was held at the new Beiqiao factory of Jiangsu Simand Electric Co., Ltd., At the conference, it was grandly announced that a number of projects including Jiangsu Simand Electric Co., Ltd., — a Suzhou municipal-level key project located in Xiangcheng ETDZ — were officially put into production.

Jiangsu Simand Intelligent Factory is situated in Beiqiao Sub-district of Xiangcheng ETDZ, covering an area of 80 mu (about 53,333 square meters) with a total building area of 156,000 square meters. Integrating R&D, production, testing and other core functions, the factory is equipped with internationally advanced SMT production lines and adopts cutting-edge digital management systems. After commissioning, it will further optimize and upgrade the company's product structure, greatly boost its production capacity and operational efficiency, and create a large number of high-quality employment opportunities for the local community.

Shen Zhidong, Secretary of the CPC Xiangcheng District Committee, attended the event. Shen Chunrong, Xu Zhonghua, Gu Min, Luo Min and Mao Dongwen, leading cadres of Xiangcheng District, together with responsible persons of relevant sub-districts and government departments of the district, also participated in the conference. Jin Hongxin, General Manager of Jiangsu Simand Electric Co., Ltd., Wu Cheng, Deputy General Manager, representatives of local enterprises, person-in-charges of financial and investment institutions, and leading members of scientific research institutes stationed in Xiangcheng attended the event as non-voting participants.

Following the conference, all participants conducted an on-site research tour at the new factory of Jiangsu Simand Electric Co., Ltd., They experienced firsthand the robust vitality of the intelligent manufacturing base as it strives for innovation-driven development, quality upgrading and breakthrough growth, and learned in detail about the enterprise's scientific and technological innovation progress and future development blueprint. The tour further boosted confidence and motivation for the high-quality development of the enterprise.
